Vulpa, Rae, and Bufell 001

I'm still trying to get around to doing a little something with marian0's Vulpa and Ru.

Don't like that I made Vulpa look a bit too mature, looking more like Ru's mother than older sister. I'll fix that. Otherwise not a bad sketch, but I missed the point with Vulpa again.

Once I get the face the way it works for me and does her justice, then I will get to Vulpa's body. Notably more compact than Rae's but tighter and leaner. A healthy bosom but not quite as large as Rae's.

Ru Looks better. I'm really not used to drawing a Lupine or Vulpine to be particularly shaggy or relatively unkempt, so drawing Ru and Vulpa quite right is going to take some practice.

Needless to say Rae and Fatima Iksaki (Below) are a bit simpler. Rae seems a bit off to me. But Fatima is spot on. Right now I am arguing with myself as to whether or not I should close the age gap between Rae and Fatima and, by implication, Dawna and her little brother Mytko. Right now it is 12 years. Rae is 16 so Fatima is 4. I'm considering cutting that down to an 8 year gap so Fatima is 8. still very young but it makes it easier to explain her very developed muscled, if you have ever seen pics of her as a child.

Bufell Dousaka (Center bust), I looked up her name in my notes, is one of the rabid generals in the Dousaka warmachine. A Cyborg of such cruel and elegant design, she is a veritable goddess of "woe and ruin". Singly responsible for the extinction of thousands of races and civilizations, she seeks alleviation from her pain. As a child her first cybernetics were installed rather harshly. As a cub with bright red fur as opposed to the usual pitch black, she was prized by her parents, but the day cam e when she would be installed into the warmachine. her pain is both physical, because the process was both graphic and done without any form of pain control and, psychological, she feels utterly betrayed by her parents. As a coping mechanism Bufell laughs when she is agonized, but a grim cold laughter escapes her mouth when she is in relief, earning her the title"The Laughing Red"



Bufell pays little mind to the plight that Omega is leveling on the little planet. She simply wants to distract herself from her pain for a time. When Omega's forces challenge Bufell she wipes them out in one motion. Even Omega's champions are little match for Bufell. But Omega is wise and wily, and points Bufell in the direction of Vulpa and Ru, with the desire that the mad space goddess will destroy perhaps the only person who can undo Omega.

Elsewhere, Rae and Fatima are on the planet as a bit of training for Fatima, and a simple survey errand for Rae. Rae is to measure to health and development of life on the planet. Rae instantly detects Omega as a blight. But this is before Rae's powers have begun to really blossom, still not infinitely powerful, and she can not rightly consider challenging this blight, especially with her little sister with her. Instead Rae, able to teleport them both away in an instant if necessary, opts to keep a low profile as she makes her survey. But Omega troopers, the ruthless and cruel shocktroops of Omega, assail Rae and Fatima.

Even though Rae is not a goddess yet, she fights like the invincible heroine of a classical myth. The soldiers weapons fail to pose any real threat to her as she fends them off and protect Fatima. Rae stays her full might until she realizes that they are soulless constructs, mostly zombies after a fashion, and simply destroys them all.

Vulpa and Ru are not far off and the sounds of the one-sided battle, call them. As they approach Omega troopers are being blown away into the sky falling to the ground broken, many crushed by some titanic force. By the time the fight is done, Vulpa and Ru arrive to the epicenter of clash.

Rae is comforting her shaken sister, even though Rae was there to protect her, those creatures were horrible fiend from a nightmare to the child still not completely over her youngest years struggling to survive in a trash heap of hellish failing colony.

Vulpa and Run introduce themselves, careful not get too close having been burned by strangers before. Rae is gracious to introduce herself and Fatima and explain her mission. Hearing this, Ru is quick to ask if anyone will come help them fight Omega. Vulpa is taken aback by Rae's appearance and almost absently asks if she is a princess. Rae honestly answers that she is not.

Rae however offers any help she can give while she is on their world. Unfortunately, she can not get involved in their struggles with Omega anymore than Omega's actions require. Her headmistress and mother, Menikomenqolui, will not have her fighting until she is certain Rae is wise enough to make the proper value judgments on her own.

After some consternation, Vulpa and Ru invite Rae and Fatima to come along on the travels. Fatima, and Ru talk and play a bit with each other until Wolufu arrives from scouting elsewhere. Fatima is taken by Wolufu almost immedaitely and they become friends. Meanwhile taking a more steady pace, Rae and Vulpa talk about Rae's world and universe. Rae is not sure how to properly explain it, but does her best. The tales she tells sound almost unreal to Vulpa. Rae admits she is not a very good story teller.

Elsewhere, in his meditations, Omega moves a few board pieces, representing a Bufell and her small army, Vulpa and Ru, and Rae and Fatima. "All the pieces are coming together. "Soon I will be able to plunge this world into a true eternity if death and chaos." Omega smiles wickedly...

That's the idea so far.
